Liz J. Pope
Liz J. Pope is an estate planning and probate attorney as well as a corporate lawyer. Liz excels at drafting wills, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents and enjoys helping people plan for a strong future. For over 20 years, Liz has focused her practice on helping families probate and administer estates so that loved ones are honored and families are protected. Her corporate work encompasses primarily local businesses and protects what they have worked so hard for and ensuring the foundation for future growth.
Liz graduated from the University of Georgia in 1994, summa cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Speech Communications. While at the University of Georgia, Liz was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Liz then received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Georgia, Lumpkin School of Law, in 1997.
Liz has donated her time by conducting presentations throughout the community at civic organizations, churches, and assisted living facilities on these topics. She has been a three time guest speaker at employer seminars conducted by the Georgia Department of Labor. She is admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals and all Georgia State and Superior Courts. Liz is a member of the Georgia Bar Association, the Alcovy Bar Association, the Newton County Bar Association, the Atlanta Bar Association, and the Lawyers Club of Atlanta. Liz has been actively involved with Habitat for Humanity and is active in her church.
Kim has worked as a paralegal for over 25 years in Rockdale and Newton Counties. Since becoming a member of The Pope Law Firm team in 2015, her vast experience in the Estate Planning, Probate and Corporate law arena has made her a valuable asset to Ms. Pope’s practice.

The firm was founded by Greg Pope in 2000 on the principal that every client deserves to receive the highest quality representation and utmost attention from an experienced attorney. Greg passed away unexpectedly in 2017, and Liz is dedicated to preserving this legacy.
